As a college graduation gift from their parents, Jessica and Dave went on a cruise to Alaska for a week. They left the day after Dave’s graduation, which was the last day of his finals week, in which he had five finals. Because of all this, Jessica wasn’t expecting a proposal at all, although other people, like her sister, Jamie, completely expected it and her parents already knew what Dave was planning. The second night of the cruise, which was the first formal night (Dave was in a tux!) Dave had made plans with the guest services coordinator of the ship. After dinner, Dave took Jessica to a lounge, where a string trio was playing. At the perfect moment, Dave got down on one knee and asked Jessica to marry him. Right when she was saying yes, the ship’s photographer started taking pictures (you can see these on the
Pictures page), the musicians started playing the wedding song and
the rest of the crew members who were in the lounge (all planned out by Dave and
the guest services coordinator) came over, gave them a bottle of champagne and offered their congratulations. It was an exciting night! |
